About FunctionBay

Our Headquarter, FunctionBay Inc, was founded in 2000 in Seoul, South Korea by Professor Bae and Professor Choi. It took them 10 years to develop the unique technology on which RecurDyn is based – the so-called fully Recursive Dynamics. Their business idea was to unite MBS, FE and Controls in one unique solver and surface (GUI) to differ from existing MBS or FEM tools. With success! This technology is called FEMBS.

In 2003 FunctionBay GmbH was established in Munich, with the task to distribute exclusively RecurDyn in the whole of Europe. But FunctionBay GmbH is not only selling the RecurDyn software, but also delivers engineering services and already achieved here a very high acknowledged reputation.
