It is our pleasure to inform you that the presentations, images as well as the new RecurDyn V8R1 Service Pack 6 are ready for download. You will also find new RecurDyn gadgets for free, which will simplify your daily work with RecurDyn. As usual, the necessary files are in the download directory for registered members.

The "top features" of the new service packs:

• Improvement of the Parasolid kernel. Versions 19-23 are supported when exporting

• Streamlined data structure in Colink and handling of the integrated simulation have been improved

• Support of MATLAB and the MATLAB Co-Simulation up to MATLAB version 2012b

• Revision of the measurement functions with Force Specific Functions

[15.12.2012] Official announcement of the winner of the RecurDyn TechnologyDays Puzzle 2013

On 2012/August/ 3rd we launched the first information about the RecurDyn Technology Days and the 10th Business Anniversary of FunctionBay GmbH, and mentioned that those will be taking place in a secret place in the upper North of Munich in April 2013. Our idea was, that the person who will figure out the “right” place, will win free entrance to that event. More hints had been announced step-by-step and we received many interesting guesses (thanks for that).

Today we would like to inform you who the winner is and offer you further details about the event.

The Winner:

Aaannnd the winner is: Mr. Heiko Hoffmann from Siemens AG, Frankfurt. We are very glad to congratulate Mr. Hoffmann for submitting the winning answer concerning the location. Therefore, Mr. Hoffmann wins free entrance to the RecurDyn Technology Days. Furthermore, we would like to thank everybody who submitted answers and guesses. Your efforts are acknowledged.

Beginning today, engineers will be able to experience all that RecurDyn 8 has to offer, including the beautiful new user interface, a wide range of features and applications with the grand opening of the CAE Forum. We have reimagined RecurDyn and the result is a stunning lineup of new improved features. RecurDyn 8 R1 including the latest SP3 brings together the best of MultiBody Dynamics, Finite Elements Analysis and Controls. Every one of our customers will find the new RecurDyn V8 R1 including the latest SP3 in our download section on the Webpage www.functionbay.de. From today on you can use our social platform to discuss with other RecurDyn users the latest release notes.
